Valter Walker is determined to secure his fight against Vitor Petrino in the UFC octagon. The recent rivalry between the Brazilian heavyweights (up to 120,2 kg) surprised fans, and the athletes reached a verbal agreement to face off. While the fight is not yet official, the 'foot hunter' has found a way to provoke his rival through social media.

In a video posted on Instagram, Valter Walker is seen practicing shadow boxing alongside Lucas Nogueira. In a staged discussion, his training partner asks the heavyweight to leave the scene, claiming that the presence of the 'foot chaser' could 'burn' the fighter in front of Vitor Petrino.

After Vitor Petrino 's victory at UFC Vegas 114, held last Saturday (14), the athlete got involved in a controversy with Valter Walker and, when provoked, did not avoid the confrontation.

The situation began when Petrino criticized the way he was removed from the UFC rankings. At the time, the Brazilian stated that he was willing to face the top names in the division and made reservations about fighters who opt for more accessible opponents.

Even without being directly mentioned, Valter Walker interpreted the statements as a provocation and offered himself up to fight him. Irritated, Johnny Walker 's brother raised his voice and even threatened to hurt his rival.

On the other hand, Petrino clarified that his remarks were not directed at Valter. Even so, he accepted the challenge immediately, without showing any regret, and reinforced that a top UFC athlete needs to face the best in the division.
