Vitor Petrino left no doubt about who he considers the most accessible opponent in the UFC heavyweight rankings (up to 120,2 kg). The Minas Gerais native recently surprised fans by starting a rivalry with Valter Walker , with whom he already has a verbal agreement to share the octagon. Given this scenario, 'Cabuloso' made a point of pointing to his compatriot as the easiest fight within the division.
In an interview with the channel 'Laerte Viana na Área – MMA', Petrino analyzed the main names in the category and assigned scores to the difficulty level of each possible matchup. Among those mentioned, the evaluation given to Valter Walker stood out , receiving the lowest score (5,0), while Alex Poatan , even without yet debuting in the division, was pointed out as the most difficult challenge (9,0).

Before presenting his list, Petrino made a point of emphasizing his respect for the other ranked fighters, highlighting the high level of the category and the difficulty of remaining among the best.
"First, let me make it very clear, I respect everyone there, being in the ranking is no joke," said Vitor Petrino.

After Vitor Petrino 's victory at UFC Vegas 114, held last Saturday (14), the athlete got involved in a controversy with Valter Walker and, when provoked, did not avoid the confrontation.
The situation began when Petrino criticized the way he was removed from the UFC rankings. At the time, the Brazilian stated that he was willing to face the top names in the division and made reservations about fighters who opt for more accessible opponents.
Even without being directly mentioned, Valter Walker interpreted the statements as a provocation and offered himself up to fight him. Irritated, Johnny Walker 's brother raised his voice and even threatened to hurt his rival.
On the other hand, Petrino clarified that his remarks were not directed at Valter. Even so, he accepted the challenge immediately, without showing any regret, and reinforced that a top UFC athlete needs to face the best in the division.
