Manchester United star Matheus Cunha surprises and supports Lerone Murphy ahead of UFC London.

It's not just the local fans who will be supporting Lerone Murphy . Manchester United striker Matheus Cunha, from the Premier League, sent a message of support to the athlete, who will headline the UFC London event against Movsar Evloev on March 21st.

In a video released by TNT Sports in England, Cunha wished the Briton good luck in his fight against Evloev, although he acknowledged that he usually roots for Brazilian fighters in the division. The Manchester United number 10 also expressed support for Murphy's next career steps, saying he hopes to see him reach the title one day.

"Hey Lerone Murphy , this is Matheus Cunha, a Manchester United player. I'm just dropping by to wish you all the best in your fight against Evloev. I hope you get the victory, all the positive energy to you."

"Of course, as a Brazilian, we have two Brazilians ranked against you, Jean Silva and Diego Lopes , and I always root for them. But in this fight, I'll be with you and I hope you can get the belt. All the best, my friend," said Matheus Cunha.
