That's because the technical knockout loss came after the Englishman suffered a fractured jaw midway through the second round, courtesy of the powerful punches thrown by the Moroccan, who remained undefeated as a professional.

Due to the complex nature of the injury, the athlete needed to undergo surgery in which the fractured bone was fixed with the aid of a stainless steel wire, in order to ensure a safer and more harmonious recovery. However, the appearance caught the attention of fans in a video published by the fighter on social media this Thursday (19).

In the video, Hardwick talks to some followers and answers questions both about the fight held last Saturday (14) and the recovery process needed for the type of injury he suffered. In the end, he explains how the duel helped him to have a longer life in the company.
"Was it worth it? (the fight) That's an interesting question. Because right now it's pretty terrible, to be fair. My jaw is completely wired shut. My nose barely works, and then there's the desert air along with the air conditioning, so I constantly wake up because I can't breathe. But was it worth it? Well, sort of, in a weird way. Hunter Campbell called me after the fight to congratulate me, Sean Shelby made a point of getting up and coming over to meet me as I was leaving the octagon to tell me I'll have another chance in the UFC. Hunter keeps calling me to take me to..." UFC London"So being on good terms with them is great," the fighter stated.
