Scared, Daniel Cormier considered abandoning TUF Russia after a violent fight; find out why.

However, the American wasn't prepared for the chaos of the reality show 'ALF MMA', popularly known as the Russian TUF. In the program, filmed in early 2026, 'DC' is one of the coaches alongside his eternal rival. Jon JonesHowever, he became more concerned with the behavior of the competitors.

So much so that in the third episode of the season, which aired last Tuesday (17), Cormier was so shocked by the violence of the fights, especially the one involving two rivals, that he considered leaving the show. In one of the many altercations, one of the athletes received a surprise punch and, enraged, began to shout, make threats and even tried to grab a knife to attack his rival.

After the efforts of many parties, the problem was resolved, but Cormier, in conversation with his team members, raised the option of the group ending their participation because they were against the premise of the program. Furthermore, the reality show has long gone viral for its scenes of savagery involving the wrestlers and even encourages them to engage in such acts. In the end, the veteran decided to continue on the show, but fears that the worst might happen.

“We’ve seen a few fights since I arrived, and this was by far the biggest. Sergei got so furious because, with the cut on his chin, he ran to the kitchen to get a knife. All he could think about was protecting himself. It was very intense. I think we’ll go home. Maybe I’ll return the money and stay home. I can’t do this shit. It’s beyond measure. Someone is going to get seriously hurt, really badly. I didn’t know it was like this. It’s very bad,” said the MMA legend.

“This guy got punched in the face when he was distracted. The guy with the broken face was sitting down and someone hit him on the side of the face. Now they're fighting outside. I don't know if I can do this. Tell them this is too much, it's crazy. Knife, everything. The guy was hit in the face. I don't mind if they fight a little, but this is crazy. Bottles flying everywhere, someone's going to get hurt,” he concluded.

What happened in the two fights between Jones and Cormier?

In their first fight, which took place in 2015 and became a classic, Jon Jones won Daniel Cormier by unanimous decision (49-46 3x) and defended the UFC light heavyweight title (up to 93 kg) for the eighth time. In the highly anticipated rematch, which took place in 2017, 'Bones' knocked out 'DC'.

However, the fight was declared a no-contest after the bad boy tested positive for the banned substance 'turinabol'. Even so, Jones ignores the incident and claims to have won the fight.
