Ravena started the fight more aggressively, attacking her opponent with combinations of crosses and straight punches, but struggled to find her rhythm at mid-range. On the other hand, Dyer adopted a more defensive stance in the first few minutes, focusing on landing jabs and calf kicks, and understanding the Brazilian's timing patterns. After several exchanges of blows on the feet, Ravena tried to take her opponent down in the final minute of the first round, but was thwarted by the Briton, who finished the round more aggressively.
Demonstrating her proficiency in Muay Thai, Shanelle attempted to attack with longer combinations in the second round, and although she suffered from a barrage of blows at the beginning, she quickly found success. Taking advantage of the Brazilian's aggressiveness, she landed a good right straight followed by a high kick, which stunned Ravena and forced the referee to stop the fight when the clock showed one minute and 17 seconds of the second round.
In addition to suffering her third consecutive defeat, Ravena also drew negative attention for not making weight for the category last Friday (20). In this context, the Brazilian may be at risk of being fired.
