Movsar Evloev had to give his all in the octagon, and, in the end, the maximum effort paid off. In the main fight of UFC London , held this Saturday (21), the Russian struggled against Lerone Murphy , the home athlete, but recovered in the final stretch of the five rounds, winning the battle by majority decision. Thus, the athlete defended his undefeated record in MMA, inflicted the first defeat on the Englishman and got closer to the featherweight title fight (up to 65,8 kg).
This was Evloev's 20th victory in MMA, and he always manages to get his hand raised in his fights, no matter how difficult they are. Even Alexander Volkanovski , the champion of the division, recognizes him as a worthy opponent and wants to face him.

The main event of UFC London was extremely competitive and tense. A striking specialist, Murphy dominated the initial rounds, landing good and powerful blows on the Russian, preventing him from implementing his grappling. Despite the difficulty on his feet, Evloev was not intimidated and, little by little, evened the score, landing jabs, straight punches, and kicks on his opponent.
In the fourth and fifth rounds, the physically superior visiting fighter excelled, taking down the home fighter and landing the better strikes. At the end of the 25-minute fight, Evloev, even with a point deducted for two unintentional illegal strikes, ultimately won by majority decision.
