Owner of one of the longest unbeaten streaks in MMA, Movsar Evloev remains unstoppable. Last Saturday (21), in the main event of UFC London , the Russian defeated Lerone Murphy by majority decision, inflicted his first career defeat and moved even closer to the long-awaited featherweight title fight (up to 65,8 kg). After leaving the home athlete behind, the fighter has no doubt that he did the same with Jean Silva.
Present at UFC London , the Brazilian downplayed the importance of the main fight before it happened and, after Evloev's victory, showed no sign of being impressed, stating that he will be the next to challenge for the title and provoking the champion Alexander Volkanovski . Upon learning of Jean's actions, the Russian was blunt and direct.

Ranked number one in the featherweight division, Evloev, convinced that he earned his title shot and confident in his position, dismissed his rival's queue-jumping and taunted him. Incidentally, Jean is ranked sixth in the division and comes into the fight with a victory over Arnold Allen , a fighter the Russian also has on his record.
"He's simply lying," the fighter said at the post- UFC London press conference.
Evloev's fighters in MMA
Movsar Evloev , 32, is one of the best featherweight fighters and is undefeated in MMA. The Russian began his career in the sport in 2014 and debuted in the UFC in 2019. In the sport, he has built a record of 20 wins and is currently ranked first in the category. His main victories were over Aljamain Sterling , Arnold Allen , Dan Ige , Diego Lopes , and Lerone Murphy.
