Lerone Murphy had barely left the octagon after his fight against Movsar Evloev and was already back in the division's scene. The Briton was defeated by the Russian in the main event of UFC London , held last Saturday (21), in a performance that did not please Diego Lopes , who quickly reacted on social media and generated a new rivalry in the featherweight division (Up to 65,7kg).
In a post on 'X', the Brazilian, who has already faced Evloev, made a point of comparing himself to and distancing himself from Murphy's fighting style, criticizing his rival's performance and indicating that he doesn't see himself on the same level inside the octagon.
"No, Lerone, we are not the same. Never do that again," wrote Diego Lopes.

The Briton's response came next. Murphy countered the criticism by denying that he had adopted a passive stance during the fight and took the opportunity to directly challenge Diego Lopes , suggesting a confrontation between the two at the next opportunity.
"I didn't lie on my back in guard for 3 rounds, bro. Let's fight next time?", replied Lerone Murphy.
