The great return of Conor McGregor A fight in the world's most famous octagon may be closer than ever. The Irishman, who has frequently been linked to an appearance at UFC White House, scheduled for June 14th, is now being linked to a card in July of this year. A recent conversation between the athlete and the company may have sealed his fate.
According to journalist Ariel Helwani, the Irishman recently met with the UFC and the meeting "went well," raising expectations for a possible return during 'International Fight Week'. The event is scheduled for July 11th, and the organization would welcome the former champion's return at a strategic point in the calendar.
“Conor’s recent meeting with the UFC was positive. Something very serious would have to happen for him not to fight on July 11th. They need this now more than ever,” stated Ariel Helwani.
