Ultimate featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski disagrees with the idea of ​​Jean Silva being his next opponent. Convinced of his opinion, the Australian explained on social media why he believes the Brazilian doesn't have the credentials to step into the octagon against him.

In a video shared on X, formerly Twitter, the veteran highlighted that Movsar Evloev is the most likely candidate for his next title defense. According to the Australian, the Russian has already done enough to be the top contender in the division. In Volkanovski's analysis, Jean still needs to prove his worth against the division's elite.

"I'm almost certain it's Movsar (Evloev). How many more times can I go without facing the number one in the rankings? There will come a time when they'll ask: 'what's going on here?'"
