Movsar Evloev had to overcome a series of adversities to step into the octagon at UFC London , held last Saturday (21). The Russian faced Lerone Murphy and had his arm raised after five rounds. Despite the difficulty within the fight, the Dagestani's problems, it seems, began even before he entered the action.

According to the 'Red Fury MMA' page, Evloev, who prepared for the event during Ramadan restrictions, suffered a broken nose four weeks before the fight against Murphy.
Furthermore, the Russian athlete faced visa complications, which were only resolved at the last minute. As a result, he had to endure a nearly 10-hour journey just two days before the weight cut.

If Evloev was already facing obstacles before the fight, the situation was no different during the bout. In the fourth round, the Russian landed an illegal blow on Lerone Murphy and ended up being penalized with a point deduction by the referee.
Nevertheless, Evloev managed to emerge victorious by majority decision of the judges (48-46, 48-46, 47-47).
