Jon Jones He failed to convince Dana White that he is a reliable professional to fight at UFC Casa Branca, but he proved his word by fulfilling his agreement with IBA Bare Knuckle. Last Monday (23), the MMA legend announced that he had become an ambassador for the Russian bare-knuckle boxing league and that he would be present at the event scheduled to take place this Saturday (28) in St. Petersburg. And, this Friday (27), 'Bones' fulfilled an unusual role representing the company.

Jones will be the host of the show, but the day before, he acted as mediator for the face-off between Yoel romero48-year-old and his longtime friend, and Vagab Vagabov, eight years younger, are headlining the fight. The MMA legend channeled Dana White and stood among the veterans, watching their movements closely.

And the experience was positive, as the former UFC champion was fortunate to have the goodwill of the duo, who didn't cause any problems at the last minute to promote the fight. However, before that, Jones had his work cut out for him as a referee for two face-offs, but he managed to keep the bad boys in check.

Not surprisingly, the American is considered by many to be the greatest and best fighter in history. He began his career in the sport in 2008 and debuted in its biggest organization that same year.

In this format, 'Bones' built a record of 28 wins, one loss, and one 'no contest' (no result). His main victories were against Alexander Gustafson (twice), Chael Sonnen, Cyryl Gane, Daniel Cormier, Dominick reyes, Glover Teixeira, Lyoto Machida, Mauritius Shogun, Quinton'Rampage'Jackson, Rashad evans, Ryan bader, Stipe Miocic, Thiago Marreta e Vitor belfort.
