Jack Della Maddalena is already focused on his next Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) fight and expressed confidence when commenting on his matchup against Carlos Prates . The big fight, which takes place at UFC Perth on May 2nd in Australia, is the main event of the show. In a recent statement, the Australian explained how he sees his duel against 'Nerd'.

In an interview with 'Australian MMA', 'JDM' stated that he possesses the necessary tools to neutralize the Brazilian's game and emerge victorious in front of his home crowd. Confident in his repertoire inside the octagon, Maddalena believes he has a technical advantage in the fight, although he didn't go into details. Speaking about 'The Smoker', the Australian highlighted that the athlete has won over the public precisely by delivering exciting fights, which further increases the anticipation for the bout on May 2nd.

“He’s a fan favorite for a good reason. He’s an exciting guy. It’s going to be a great striking battle between two of the top contenders. I feel like I have the skill set to beat him. I believe I can overcome him,” Jack Della Maddalena said in an interview.
