Considered the favorite before the fight, Maycee Barber did not live up to expectations and Alexa Grasso was the one who shone at UFC Seattle , held this Saturday (28). Against the American, the Mexican delivered a dominant performance, mixing aggression and precision to finish the fight quickly and intensely.

The fight began cautiously, with both fighters relying on kicks and distance control. However, Grasso quickly found the perfect timing. Still in the first round, she landed a powerful left cross that stunned Barber, sending the American to the ground. Alert to the opportunity, the Mexican went on the attack on the ground and secured the victory by locking in a rear-naked choke, giving Barber no chance to react.

With the victory, Grasso reaches 17 wins and five losses in his career, consolidating his good form within the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Barber, in turn, now has 15 wins and three losses in his professional record.

Rising in the division, Alexa Grasso is also strengthening her position in the race to reclaim the belt and emerging as a possible challenger to Valentina Shevchenko in the organization's upcoming events.
