With both coming off losses, the duel at UFC Seattle was an opportunity for one of them to get back on track. The event, held this Saturday (28), featured an intense fight, where Ignacio Bahamondes was a warrior, but couldn't escape the powerful punches and elbows of Tofiq Musayev . Before the fight started, bookmakers placed the Chilean as the favorite with impressive odds of 1,30 and the Azerbaijani appeared well below with odds of 3,55. However, the duel did not follow the predictions and ended in an exciting way.

Tofiq Musayev and Ignacio Bahamondes engaged in a cautious start, with both fighters relying on long strikes, especially kicks, to control the distance. While the Azerbaijani fighter sought to land more powerful blows in search of a knockout, the Chilean displayed good defense and avoided major danger in the first round.

As the fight progressed, Bahamondes began to take more initiative and even landed some good combinations on his feet, putting pressure on his opponent. However, Musayev responded effectively, mixing up his game well and using takedowns to neutralize his rival's momentum. The Chilean struggled to get back to his feet and ended up suffering from the volume of strikes on the ground, including punches and elbows that left visible marks throughout the fight.

Even exhausted, Bahamondes still had one last moment of resistance in the final stretch. In the decisive seconds, he managed a sweep and attempted a submission, but was unsuccessful. Musayev quickly regained control of the position and managed the rest of the fight until the end.

At the end of the three rounds, the judges declared Musayev the winner by unanimous decision. With this result, the Azerbaijani now has 23 wins and six losses in his career, in his second appearance in the organization. Bahamondes now has a record of 17 wins and seven losses, in his tenth fight for the company.
