Michael Chiesa achieved what many fighters dream of having: the perfect career ending. At UFC Seattle , an event held this Saturday (28), the American fought his last fight at home and won in impressive fashion, delighting the fans present at the Climate Pledge Arena. At 38 years old, 'Maverick' finished the also experienced Niko Price in just over a minute in the welterweight division (up to 77,1 kg).
In this way, Chiesa achieved his fourth consecutive victory, proving that, despite his advanced age for competition, he continues to perform at a high level and remain relevant. As expected, the athlete, receiving a standing ovation, was moved to tears and made a point of thanking and expressing his gratitude to the UFC and the fans.

Michael Chiesa began his MMA career in 2010 and debuted in the UFC in 2012. The American won The Ultimate Fighter 15 and was ranked for years in the lightweight (up to 70,3 kg) and welterweight divisions. In the sport, he built a record of 20 wins and seven losses. Perfect performance
Even competing in hostile territory, Price went on the attack, but it didn't intimidate Chiesa. Quickly, the home athlete sought a grappling fight, took his opponent down, took his back and, a jiu-jitsu specialist, finished with a rear-naked choke, driving the crowd in the arena wild.
