Adesanya's conqueror and former champion earn bonuses at UFC Seattle; Brazilian is ignored – see the awards.

UFC Seattle was special for Alexa Grasso and Joe Pyfer . At the event held this Saturday (28), the athletes shone in the octagon and won in an impactful way via knockout. Because they impressed, the pair left heavy competition behind and won the 'Performance of the Night' bonus.

The organization announced the awards shortly after the show. Therefore, Grasso and Pyfer took home a check for $100 (approximately R$ 526 at the current exchange rate). In the main event, valid for the middleweight division (up to 83,9 kg), the American was not intimidated by Israel Adesanya , a legend of MMA, and achieved the biggest victory of his career. It is true that the athlete experienced worrying moments against the veteran, but in the end, he resisted and punished him, knocking him out in the second round.

Meanwhile, the Mexican fighter shone in the co-main event against Maycee Barber . In just one round, the former flyweight champion (up to 57 kg) delivered a knockout and a submission to her rival, in one of the most impactful scenes of the year. Sharp in her striking, Grasso landed a powerful right hand on the American, who immediately fell unconscious. Determined to win at all costs, the athlete immediately took advantage and applied a rear-naked choke to her opponent, who was left in pain and with glazed eyes.

As expected, Tofiq Musayev and Ignacio Bahamondes were awarded the 'Fight of the Night' bonus. In the last fight of the preliminary card, the athletes delivered a bloody battle, considered by many to be one of the best of 2026. After 15 minutes of pure violence, the representative from Azerbaijan defeated the Chilean by unanimous decision and moved closer to entering the top 15 of the lightweight division (up to 70,3 kg). As a result, each earned $100.

Despite shining in his UFC debut and receiving much praise from fans, Brazilian Lerryan Douglas, who dominated Julian Erosa with a first-round knockout, was not awarded the performance bonus. However, the athlete did receive a consolation prize from the company, as did several other athletes.

Because they won via the fast track, Casey O'Neill, Lance Gibson Jr., Lerryan Douglas, Michael Chiesa , Navajo Stirling , Terrance McKinney , and Yousri Belgaroui each earned a bonus of US$25 (approximately R$132).
