Joe Pyfer won't forget UFC Seattle anytime soon , an event held this Saturday (28). The promising American fought in the main event against the legendary Israel Adesanya and did well. In the important middleweight bout (up to 83,9 kg), the athlete made his physical stature count and, known precisely for his strength and power, punished the former king, knocking him out in the second round.
With this victory, the most important of his career, Pyfer has reached a new level in his career. With four consecutive wins, the 29-year-old American has become a real threat to the top contenders in the highly competitive category. In fact, if before this show the athlete was ranked 14th, now he should take the fourth position from the Nigerian.

The first round of the fight was intense, with good moments for both sides. More technical, Adesanya, relying on kicks and constant movement, had a slight advantage. Without panicking, Pyfer showed no respect for the MMA legend in the second round. Excited by the duel, the athletes exchanged blows with everything they had.
Adesanya managed to shake the American and, seeking to end his three-fight losing streak, went all out to finish the fight, but ended up receiving powerful punches. By frequently landing punches on the veteran and noticing his weakness, Pyfer, stronger and heavier, continued attacking. After taking down the former champion, the fighter applied brutal ground and pound and won by technical knockout.
