Dana White was pleased with Israel Adesanya 's performance at UFC Seattle , held last Saturday (21). The former champion faced Joe Pyfer in the main event and, after winning the first round, ended up being dominated and knocked out in the second round. Even with his fourth consecutive defeat, the Nigerian still received praise from the organization's president.
In the post-fight press conference, Dana White assessed that Adesanya delivered a good performance inside the octagon. According to the UFC president, the former champion demonstrated speed, good movement, and efficient use of angles during the fight, leaving a positive impression even in defeat.
"He looked good. He looked good. He was fast, using angles. Yeah, I thought he (Adesanya) was very good," said Dana White.

Commenting on the fight's winner, Dana White highlighted the impact of Pyfer's victory. The president emphasized that the fighter, then ranked 14th, overcame one of the biggest names in the history of the middleweight division (up to 83,9 lbs), who held the fourth position, and also secured the win by stoppage, making the performance even more impressive.
“We started analyzing all the performances tonight, and for Pyfer to come in ranked number 14 and beat Israel Adesanya , one of the best middleweights of all time, and number 4 in the rankings. It’s quite impressive, and to finish him,” concluded the UFC president.
