Yousri Belgaroui does not rule out a possible confrontation against Israel Adesanya in the Ultimate octagon. A training partner of Alex Poatan , the fighter defeated Mansur Abdul-Malik by knockout in the third round, while the Nigerian was defeated by Joe Pyfer in the main event of UFC Seattle , held last Saturday (28). The combination of results rekindles the possibility of a duel between the former Glory rivals in the world's largest MMA organization.
In an interview with 'Fullsend MMA', Belgaroui revealed that he recently met with Adesanya backstage, a meeting marked by mutual respect. However, the fighter indicated that he sees the possibility of a rematch between them in the future.
“We saw each other, shook hands, and showed respect. Who knows what might happen, but I know we can build this fight together,” said Yousri Belgaroui.

Israel Adesanya and Yousri Belgaroui have a history of confrontations that gives the Nigerian an advantage in their heyday in kickboxing. The two faced each other twice in the sport, both in 2016.
In their first duel, held at Glory of Heroes 4 in August, Adesanya won by unanimous decision after three rounds. Months later, at GLORY 34: Denver on October 21, the athletes met again in the final of a tournament to determine the next challenger for the belt, and once again Adesanya prevailed, this time by split decision.
