Maycee barber She broke her silence on social media to share a message with her fans. The American, who shocked the world by being knocked out and, in a way, finished by Alexa Grasso at UFC Seattle, an event held last Saturday (28), assimilated what happened and went into detail about the moment when she fell disoriented to the ground.

In a post on Instagram, Maycee said she was surprised to see the footage of the fight after the event, especially because of how she was knocked out. According to the flyweight (up to 56,7 kg), the reaction on social media has also been impactful, which led her to take a break from the platforms for a while. Despite the negative result, Barber made a point of acknowledging her opponent's performance and highlighted the learning experience she gained.

"Well, this wasn't the post or video I wanted to make today, but I wanted to come here and thank the UFC and Alexa (Grasso) for the opportunity. I wanted to go there, take advantage of the chance for a rematch, dominate and win, but unfortunately it wasn't my night, I got caught."

Alexa did something incredible, she's a phenomenal fighter. And I don't remember much, I just know that every time I go on social media it feels like I was dead, and that's not nice to see at all.

So I'm trying to stay away from social media, but I also wanted to come here, at the very least, to tell you that I'm okay. I'm very blessed to live the life I have, however difficult it may be. Being there and doing what I did last night was still one of the greatest experiences of my life,” she said. Maycee barber.
