Kayla harrison She may be close to having her long-awaited super fight against Amanda nunes rescheduled in the UFC octagon. The current bantamweight champion (up to 61,2 kg) was scheduled to face the Brazilian in the co-main event of the UFC 324, a confrontation that would mark the return of the 'Lioness'. However, the American needed to go through a neck surgery to correct a herniated disc, which ended up postponing the duel.
During an appearance on the 'DeathRow Podcast', Harrison updated her health status, expressing confidence in her recovery. The fighter stated that she will undergo a CT scan in the coming days and, if the results are positive, she intends to resume training in a few weeks. Furthermore, she adopted a humorous tone when commenting on her surgical scar.
