While he hasn't been able to officially secure his next commitment in the world's most famous octagon, Arman Tsarukyan has been finding ways to stay active and relevant within the community. Apparently tired of just competing in wrestling matches, the Armenian decided to take his leisure time to another level. Accompanied by Nina Drama, the lightweight (up to 70,3 kg) interacted with alligators during a visit to Everglades Holiday Park last Tuesday (31), in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

In the video, the wrestler sits on the alligator's back and, smiling, places his hands near the animal's neck, as if attempting to strangle it. Despite the danger involved, the reptile did not show any aggressive reaction. It is important to note that the entire action was supervised by one of the trainers at the facility.

Despite being one of the biggest names in the entire organization, Tsaruykan is far from having a good time in the world's largest MMA organization. In early 2025, he withdrew from the main event of UFC 311 against Islam Makhachev and since then, he has not been able to regain his position as the number one contender. Since then, he has defeated Dan Hooker by submission, but has been overlooked by the company during the matchup for the interim title, and is at risk of being surpassed by Charles Oliveira , a fighter he has already defeated.
