According to the fighter, the nature of the injury is so complex that surgery would be necessary. The main problem for "The Machine," however, is the recovery time required to return to the octagon.
“I just consulted a plastic surgeon specializing in rhinoplasty, and he said that if I have surgery on my nose, it will take another year for a full recovery. Of course, I don't want to do that. Otherwise, he said, 'Have the surgery when you're retired.' Of course, I'm not going to retire for another 20 years,” he stated.
🚨 Merab Dvalishvili broke his nose, and says he won't be getting surgery because the recovery time is one year:
"X-ray shows my nose is broken at two places. I guess I'm gonna keep my nose even more crooked than what it used to be." 😭
