LokDog gets involved in the fight between Alex Poatan and Melk Costa and challenges his rival.

Vinicius LokDog decided to get involved in the recent controversy between Melk Costa and Alex Poatan . Recently, the 'Dalmatian' went viral on social media after suggesting that Jon Jones would easily beat the Brazilian in a hypothetical fight, an opinion that was not well received by the champion.

After the negative reaction and aware of Poatan's irritation, Melk even proposed that the differences be resolved in a grappling match. However, shortly after, the fighter partially backed down, stating that even a video game match would suffice, a stance that ended up irritating Vinicius LokDog.

"Honestly, Melk Costa was a real wimp, he challenged Alex Pereira to a grappling match, thought about it, and then chickened out. I don't think he'd have the guts even on PS5, but you want grappling in São Paulo? Come welcome me then!!" wrote LokDog in a post on X.

During his appearance on Connect Cast, Melk Costa assessed that in a potential fight between Poatan and Jon Jones, the American is the clear favorite. According to Dalmatian, 'Bones' would have the advantage mainly in grappling, imposing his takedown game and controlling the ground game. Even so, the fighter acknowledged that the Brazilian would have his chances, although he doesn't consider him the best opponent for the matchup.

" Jon Jones was going to crush Poatan... Because he was going to take him to the ground, man. That's it. Everyone has a chance, man, but (I don't think Poatan is) the favorite. But he has a chance," said Melk Costa.
