In an interview with 'Canal Encarada', the Brazilian downplayed the negative repercussions and highlighted that the visibility generated is more relevant than the opposing opinions. According to Charles, the fact that he is constantly talked about reinforces his relevance in the sport, making the criticism irrelevant in the face of the reach and engagement he has.

Throughout the five rounds, Charles consistently dominated the Hawaiian and, at the end of the fight, had his arm raised after winning by unanimous decision of the judges.
