In the first round, the fighters began by studying each other's striking exchanges, with Moicano adopting a more strategic stance, avoiding risks in the face of Duncan's aggressiveness. The fight remained balanced, with the Brazilian controlling the distance, waiting for opportunities and taking advantage when they arose.
In the second round, Moicano picked up the pace. The Brazilian landed a clean strike that rocked his opponent and quickly followed up with a takedown, taking control on the ground. From the top, he began working with powerful strikes, opening a bleeding wound on Duncan's face and wearing down the Scotsman's resistance.
With a significant advantage, Moicano advanced into position, locked in a rear-naked choke at 1:46 of the round, securing a dominant victory. With this win, the Brazilian now has 21 wins and seven losses in his professional record. This was his 20th fight for the organization.
On the other side, Chris Duncan updates his record to 15 wins and three losses. The 32-year-old Scotsman, who was coming off a victory against Terrance McKinney in December 2025, completed his eighth fight for the organization.
