Alice Pereira shone in ufc vegas 115 with a beautiful knockout in the second round, this Saturday (4), at the Apex, in Las Vegas (USA). The Brazilian won her first victory in the organization after imposing an intense pace from the start and taking advantage of an opening in the final stretch to end the fight in a powerful way.

In the opening minutes, Alice took the initiative and began dictating the pace of the stand-up fight. With precise strikes, the Brazilian punished her opponent, who quickly showed signs of fatigue, especially on her face. Even trying to change the situation with takedown attempts and moments of pressure against the cage, Cowan couldn't stop the young athlete's advance.
In the next stage, the duel took on new dimensions, with the American managing to take the fight to the ground and staying on top for a period. Even so, Alice showed maturity by neutralizing the actions, locking her rival's arms and avoiding greater risks until she was able to return to striking, where she felt more comfortable.
In the final moments, the Brazilian was clinical. Finding an opening, she connected with a knee strike followed by a clean punch, enough to knock Cowan out and secure the victory. With this result, Alice reaches her seventh career win and confirms her good form, while her opponent extends her losing streak in the UFC.
