Tommy McMillen promised to impress in his UFC Vegas 115 debut and he kept his word. At the event held this Saturday (4), the friend and training partner of Sean O'Malley, former bantamweight champion (up to 61,2 kg), needed only one round to confirm his favoritism and knock out Manolo Zecchini.
Exciting and possessing a strong personality, the American has everything it takes to win over the public and stand out in the UFC featherweight division (up to 65,8 kg). Discovered through the Contender Series program, McMillen defended his undefeated record in MMA and has now extended his winning streak to ten, nine of which were by stoppage (five by submission and four by knockout).

The fight between the athletes was quick, but it had everything. McMillen and Zecchini focused on attacking and ignored any kind of defensive precaution. Bigger and more powerful, McMillen, even if somewhat reckless, landed the best blows and soon caused a cut near Zecchini's eye.
It's true that Zecchini didn't care about the physical disadvantage and also intimidated McMillen with his speed. However, McMillen proved unshakeable and, with a powerful sequence, disoriented Zecchini. Then, McMillen cornered Zecchini against the cage and finished him off with knees and punches.
