Jiri Prochazka didn't hide his annoyance with Jean Silva 's 'back surfing' at UFC 324. During the fight against Arnold Allen , the Brazilian took advantage of the moment when the Briton was on all fours and climbed onto his back , a gesture that excited the crowd, but which, apparently, displeased the Czech Samurai.
During a live stream with Adin Ross, Jiri Prochazka criticized the attitude, indicating that, in his view, there are times when a fighter should prioritize efficiency in combat instead of actions that might sound disrespectful. The former champion also highlighted the importance of maintaining seriousness inside the octagon and valuing the competitive level of the athletes involved.

“I saw someone jump off another opponent’s back. When you have time for that kind of nonsense, fight better. Don’t do that kind of nonsense in the octagon. You have to respect the athletes in there,” said Jiri Prochazka.
