Renato Moicano is on fire after the show he put on in the main event of UFC Vegas 115. Last Saturday (4), the Brazilian ended his bad streak by easily finishing Chris Duncan in the second round and, having regained his confidence, he returned to provoking his rivals in the lightweight division (up to 70,3 kg). In fact, Benoit Saint Denis was one of those who suffered the most from the veteran's 'trash talk'.

Since BSD has racked up four wins and reached fifth place in the category rankings, Moicano, number ten, sees him as a kind of shortcut to joining the select group and, consequently, getting closer to another title fight. So much so that the Brazilian was not at all impressed with his rival's recovery, questioned his quality, and declared that he will punish him again.

“I beat Saint Denis and I can beat him again, because he’s not that good. That’s the truth. Did you see his fight against Hooker? That fight was awful! He’s not good at all. Maybe people will say I got lucky in Paris, but I can beat him again and be in the top 5. Who cares? I don’t,” said the fighter at the post-UFC Vegas 115 press conference.

Renato Moicano , 36, is a veteran of MMA and a long-time member of the UFC's top 15 lightweight division. The Brazilian began his career in the sport in 2010 and debuted in its biggest organization in 2014. Currently, he is ranked tenth in the highly competitive division.

In this discipline, the professional built a record of 21 wins, seven losses, and one draw. His main victories were over Benoit Saint Denis , Calvin Kattar , Chris Duncan , Cub Swanson , Drew Dober , Jalin Turner , and Jeremy Stephens.
