Jiri Prochazka does not hold grudges for past defeats. In an interview with 'NY Post Sports', Prochazka indicated that he is not pressuring the UFC for a rematch against Poatan and reiterated that he is not obsessed with the fight. The former champion also highlighted that he doesn't usually hold grudges and sees defeats as part of the evolutionary process, believing that each setback contributes to mental and spiritual strengthening.

This happens because the then champion, Alex Poatán, decided to leave the position to move up a weight class and attempt an unprecedented triple championship in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).
The Brazilian has a match scheduled against Cyryl Gane in the main event of UFC Casa Branca, scheduled for June 14th.
