Dricus du Plessis hasn't ruled out a fight for the UFC's BMF (Baddest Motherfucker) belt. The possibility was recently mentioned by the former middleweight champion (up to 83,9 kg) when outlining the next steps in his career in the sport and highlighting that this type of confrontation would have special significance in his legacy.

In an interview with 'Fight Forecast', the South African indicated that, at the moment, his focus remains on more relevant challenges within the division, but he did not rule out the idea of ​​seeking the BMF title in the future, especially in the final years of his career. According to him, the fight would represent a kind of recognition for the trajectory he has built inside the octagon.

“I believe this is something for the end of my career. I would love to just go in there and be a BMF,” said Du Plessis, making it clear that he sees this type of fight as a special chapter to end his MMA career.

Currently, the BMF belt belongs to Charles do Bronx , who won the title by defeating Max Holloway via unanimous decision at UFC 326 on March 7th of this year in Las Vegas (USA).
