Number one fan, Alice Pereira, celebrates Charles do Bronx's help in UFC victory: 'Inspiration'

Alice Pereira took advantage of UFC Vegas 115 to erase the bad impression left in her debut in the organization. Last Saturday (4), the Brazilian shone by applying a brutal knockout to Hailey Cowan in the second round and was one of the main highlights of the show. Radiant, the athlete revealed that she had an extra motivation to seek her first victory in the company: the support of Charles do Bronx.

In the post-event press conference and on UFC Brazil, Aline revealed that, a few days before her fight, she was surprised with a very special gift. Reporter Evelyn Rodrigues contacted the former lightweight champion (up to 70,3 kg) and told him about the athlete's admiration.

Without hesitation, the veteran reciprocated the 'Golden Girl's' affection by sending a special video message. Overwhelmed with emotion, Alice highlighted that her idol's gesture played a crucial role in her resolve, helping her to push herself further in the final stretch before the fight.

“I think everyone now knows that I’m one of Charles’s biggest fans. Receiving that video from him was surreal. It was a real boost for me at that moment. My weight cut was crazy. It was truly a Charles do Bronx -style weight cut . In the end, when I opened my phone, there he was sending me a message that will be etched in my mind for the rest of my life,” said the fighter.

“I can’t thank him enough for that video he made for me. It really was the boost I needed for this victory to happen. It gave me a boost I can’t explain. He’s someone I admire a lot, someone I’m a huge fan of. So, receiving a video like that was just another flame that warmed my heart, making me certain that this victory would be mine.”

“I entered the UFC with the desire and certainty that I want to leave breaking all records and achieving the most unimaginable things. If one day I get to compete for the BMF women's belt, it will be the craziest thing of all time. I already have some crazy ambitions to achieve. I am very happy and satisfied with my performance,” she concluded.

Alice Pereira , 20 years old, is a promising MMA fighter who competes in the bantamweight division (up to 61,2 kg) of the UFC. The Brazilian began her career in the sport in 2023 and debuted in the company in 2025. In this discipline, the athlete has built a record of seven wins, six by stoppage (five by knockout and one by submission), and one loss.
