Renato Moicano ended his bad phase in his career in the best possible way at UFC Vegas 115. In the main event held last Saturday (4), the Brazilian, former lightweight title challenger (up to 70,3 kg), was dominant and returned to the path of victories by easily finishing Chris Duncan in the second round. Because of the show in the octagon, the veteran gained a position in the category in the weekly ranking update released by the organization this Tuesday (7).
Before fighting at UFC Vegas 115, Moicano was ranked tenth in the lightweight division. After submitting his former training partner, who is not part of the elite of the competitive category, the Brazilian moved up to ninth place in the rankings. With the veteran's rise, Mauricio Ruffy ended up falling behind. The striker dropped from ninth to tenth place.

In the co-main event, Tabatha Ricci tried to surprise Virna Jandiroba in the strawweight division (up to 52,2 kg), but came out on the losing end, losing by unanimous decision. Defeated by the veteran, 'Baby Shark' dropped from seventh to eighth place. Amanda Lemos took advantage of the situation , climbing from eighth to seventh place despite two consecutive losses.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu legend Bia Mesquita is making waves in MMA and excelling in the UFC. In March, she secured her second victory in the octagon by submitting Montserrat Rendón in the first round, and only now has she been recognized by the journalists responsible for the company's rankings. Undefeated in the sport, the member of the 'American Top Team' academy has entered the top 15 of the bantamweight division (up to 61,2 kg), taking the 15th position.
