Jiri Prochazka reveals unusual impulse and almost strangles crocodile before UFC 327.

Jiri Prochazka felt the urge to strangle a crocodile as soon as he set foot in Miami. The Czech samurai is in the city to headline UFC 327 against Carlos Ulberg , in a fight for the light heavyweight title (up to 93 kg), vacated by Alex Poatan . According to the athlete himself, if it weren't for the imminent birth of his daughter and the importance of the fight, he would have faced the animal without thinking twice.

In an interview with 'ESPN MMA', Prochazka reported that he had the opportunity to attack a crocodile, but chose not to act. The Czech explained that he assessed the risks of the situation, especially with the fight approaching and the arrival of his daughter, factors that made him avoid any impulsive action that could compromise his plans inside and outside the octagon.

“Yesterday, I had the chance to jump and strangle the crocodile. And there was, like, not a very big one, but a normal crocodile. I saw it and had the chance to jump and grab it. And I didn’t do it because I really knew it could be a little dangerous for the next week, of course. And also for me, for my daughter, for the upcoming things, like the birth of my daughter,” said Jiri Prochazka.

Jiri Prochazka faces Carlos Ulberg in the main event of UFC 327, in a fight for the light heavyweight title (up to 93 kg). This is because the then champion, Alex Poatan , decided to relinquish the title to move up a weight class and attempt an unprecedented triple championship in the Ultimate Fighting Championship.
