Carlos Ulberg doesn't believe Jiri Prochazka is willing to exchange blows with him. Scheduled to face the Czech fighter in the main event of UFC 327, for the light heavyweight title (up to 93kg) vacated by Alex Poatan , the New Zealander downplayed the possibility of an open stand-up fight, despite the former champion's impressive record of 29 knockouts in 31 wins.
During the event's Media Day, Ulberg indicated that he expects a more cautious approach from his opponent. The New Zealander highlighted that Prochazka knows of other opponents who tried to fight him and ended up knocked out; however, he reinforced that his priority is to impose his own style and execute what he does best inside the octagon.

“He’s not just going to come in headfirst and throw punches. He’s seen what happened in the past with guys doing that to me. But I see a lot of holes in his game. But I’m just focused on what I’m going to bring to the table. So I’m going to go there and do what I do best,” said Carlos Ulberg.

Jiri Prochazka faces Carlos Ulberg in the main event of UFC 327, in a fight for the light heavyweight title (up to 93 kg). This is because the then champion, Alex Poatan , decided to relinquish the title to move up a weight class and attempt an unprecedented triple championship in the Ultimate Fighting Championship.
The Brazilian fighter is scheduled to face Ciryl Gane in the main event of UFC Casa Branca , scheduled for June 14th.
