Even being one of the best lightweights (up to 70,3 kg.) in the world, Arman Tsarukyan remains committed to attracting the attention of fans, even if it means facing athletes he has already beaten. In an interview on the Full Send podcast this Thursday (9), the second ranked fighter in the category made himself available to face Charles do Bronx again, this time for the BMF title.

Although he didn't go into much detail, the Armenian implied that the BMF belt wouldn't be worthy of the Brazilian. Like several other athletes, Tsarukyan was also one of those who criticized the "Blasted Lion's" performance against Max Holloway in the main event of UFC 326.

“Topuria has a fight coming up, so I would face Oliveira because he is No. 3 and has the BMF title. I think that title suits me better than Oliveira,” the fighter stated.

Despite being one of the best in his category, the Armenian is far from being a contender for the title after the unification between Topuria and Gaethje in the White House. Recently, Charles himself even spoke publicly about the possibility of jumping the queue in the race for the number one contender spot.

The first duel between the two took place at the legendary UFC 300 , and was marked by controversy. After surviving a very tight guillotine choke in the opening seconds of the fight, Tsarukyan managed to prevail and win by a contested split decision after 15 minutes of intense exchanges of power both standing and on the ground. The victory earned the Armenian a title shot against Islam Makhachev in early 2025, but he was unable to compete after suffering a back injury during the weight cut.
