Josh Hokit wants, at all costs, to steal the spotlight at UFC 327, scheduled for this Saturday (11). The loudmouth is scheduled to face Curtis Blaydes in a duel that could catapult him into the top 5 of the heavyweights and, determined to arrive with a bang, has been striving to attract the attention of the cameras. In this scenario, even UFC commentator Laura Sanko wasn't spared.
During 'fight week', Hokit caused trouble with the event's main fighters, Jiri Prochazka and Carlos Ulberg . Now, in an interview on the show 'Weigh in Show', the loudmouth tried to use his charisma and flirted with interviewer Laura Sanko, who apparently didn't like it.

"I don't play chess, but I recognize a queen when I see one," said Josh Hokit.
Aware that his flirtatious comment hadn't been well received, the heavyweight apologized to the reporter and continued with the interview.
"Sorry if I made that seem weird, Laura," the heavyweight concluded, after apparently having a panic attack.

Josh Hokit had a golden opportunity fall into his lap. The outspoken fighter, despite not yet being ranked in the official heavyweight division (up to 120,2kg), is scheduled to face Curtis Blaydes, currently in the top 5 of the division.
Although not considered an immediate contender for the belt, Blaydes is one of the most established names in the division. In his last appearances, the American defeated Jailton Malhadinho , was beaten by Tom Aspinall in the interim title fight, and then returned to winning ways against Rizvan Kuniev . He currently holds the fourth position in the heavyweight rankings.
