Francisco Prado and Charles Radtke entered the fray in the first fight of UFC 327 and delivered what is expected from an event that features Jiri Prochazka in the main event: a lot of violence. The Argentinian prospect faced off against the American veteran and, although he came close to a guillotine choke submission in the third round, he ended up dominated and left with a huge cut on his forehead.
The most impactful moment occurred in the second round. With his back to the ground, Prado was surprised by an elbow strike that opened a deep cut on his forehead (see below), leaving the octagon bloodied and hindering his performance until the final moments of the fight.

In addition to the injury, the Argentinian also had a point deducted after poking his opponent in the eye, which put him in an even more unfavorable position on the scoreboard. Even so, he showed resilience and almost turned the fight around by locking in a guillotine choke in the third round, which nearly resulted in a submission. At the end of the three rounds, Charles Radtke had his arm raised by unanimous decision of the judges (30-26, 29-26 and 30-26).
