UFC 327 provided several memorable moments and the controversial Josh Hokit took full advantage of the spotlight . At the event held this Saturday (11), in Miami (USA), the bad boy shone so brightly in the octagon by defeating Curtis Blaydes by unanimous decision, that he gained high morale with the company's top brass. So much so that the heavyweight (up to 120,2 kg) standout won two bonuses, namely, performance and fight of the night.
The organization announced the awards shortly after the show. Since each bonus is worth $100 (approximately R$500 at the current exchange rate), Hokit took home a total of $200 (approximately R$1 million at the current exchange rate).
In the octagon, the athlete, in his third UFC appearance, was not intimidated by Blaydes' experience and size, and came out on top in the challenge. Despite being much smaller than his opponent, the bad boy attacked with everything he had, constantly shaking him with the power of his punches and drawing blood. It's true that the 'new Chael Sonnen ' also experienced difficult moments in the duel, but he resisted and was ultimately rewarded.
