Paulo Borrachinha left no doubt that he is still a big name in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) when he debuted in the light heavyweight division (up to 93 kg) at UFC 327: the Brazilian ignored Azamat Murzakanov 's undefeated record , imposed his rhythm during the fight and sealed the victory with a beautiful head kick.
In the third round, with the fight wide open, Borrachinha went for the finish in the first few seconds. The Brazilian found his range and landed a clean high kick that rocked Azamat Murzakanov and completely changed the course of the fight.

Even stunned, the Russian still tried to respond with a cross, but Paulo dodged precisely and then landed a second perfect high kick. The blow connected cleanly and sent Murzakanov to the ground.
With the victory, Borrachinha reached 16 wins and started his new phase with two consecutive positive results. Murzakanov, on the other hand, suffered the first defeat of his career and saw his unbeaten streak come to an end.
