Jiri Prochazka used social media to speak out after his defeat at UFC 327, held in Miami (USA), this Saturday (11). The Czech was knocked out by Carlos Ulberg in the first round and ended up losing the opportunity to regain the light heavyweight belt (up to 93 kg). After the setback, the former champion spoke about the result, admitting a mistake during the fight and, at the same time, asked for an immediate rematch against the new title holder.

In a social media post, Prochazka stated that he was still processing the defeat, calling the knockout moment "stupid mercy." The former champion's statement refers to his opponent's condition, who suffered a knee injury during the fight. Despite the misfortune, the New Zealander did not give up, finding space for a cross that sent the Czech to the ground. The blow triggered a sequence of punches on the ground that ended the fight quickly.

“I sincerely apologize for my performance tonight. I still can’t understand it, my ‘stupid mercy’ in the fight, which cost me the victory. I would like a rematch, because that fight was mine and I simply gave him the opportunity to catch me. Apologies to everyone who supports me,” the fighter wrote on his Instagram profile.
