The surprising outcome of the main fight at UFC 327 continues to generate statements from various names in the sport. Beyond the great knockout achieved by Carlos Ulberg , Henry Cejudo came forward this Monday (13) to question the supposed mercy that Jiri Prochazka showed after the New Zealander suffered a serious injury to his right knee.

In the latest edition of the 'Pound 4 Pound' podcast, which he co-hosted with Kamaru Usman , Triple C questioned the information given by the former light heavyweight champion (up to 93 kg) in his in-octagon interview with Joe Rogan. According to him, the statement is nothing more than an excuse on the part of the Czech fighter.
“If you are the last samurai, you have to finish the job. That’s what you should do – you should hurt someone. You shouldn’t have mercy on anyone. I think mercy, or whatever it was, is sometimes just an excuse,” he stated.

Prochazka will soon become a father.

Conversely, Usman offered a curious hypothesis to explain Prochazka's supposed piety. According to the Nigerian Nightmare, fatherhood may have altered the Czech Samurai's "killer instinct." Jiri will become the father of a baby girl in a few days, and was even gifted a girl by Johnny Walker during the week leading up to the fight.
“I know I changed when I became a father. And luckily for me, I can change and become that lion during fights. But becoming a father changes your perspective and your sensitivity to things. I don't think he felt sorry for Ulberg during the fight, I think he tried to win in a scenario where both were in good condition and not take advantage of the injury, I think that's what he meant,” he stated.
