Paulo Borrachinha makes a winning debut in the light heavyweight division.
After experiencing a period of pressure in the middleweight division (up to 83,9 kg), Paulo Borrachinha rebounded by defeating Roman Kopylov at UFC 318. With this positive result, the Brazilian opted to change weight classes and move up to light heavyweight (up to 93 kg), where he faced the then sixth-ranked fighter, Azamat Murzakanov.
With his victory in his debut in the new division, Paulo Costa should finish among the top five in the light heavyweight division, solidifying a promising start in the category.
