Magomed Ankalayev demonstrated distrust regarding the alleged compassion claimed by Jiri Prochazka after UFC 327, held last Saturday (11). In the main fight of the event, the Czech faced Carlos Ulberg for the light heavyweight title (up to 93 kg) and ended knocked out after seeing his rival twist his knee, a result that, according to the samurai himself, happened because he felt pity for the New Zealander. The justification, however, was promptly disputed by the Russian.
In a social media post, Ankalaev refuted Prochazka's version of events, indicating that there was no sign of mercy during the fight. According to the Russian, the Czech fighter maintained attacks on Ulberg's legs throughout the fight, which, in his view, completely contradicts the narrative that he slowed down out of compassion.
