Alex Poatan is experiencing the months leading up to one of the most significant stages of his career with joy. The Brazilian has a fight scheduled for the interim heavyweight title (up to 120,2 kg) against Ciryl Gane at UFC Casa Branca , on June 14th, in Washington DC (USA). With a smile on his face, the São Paulo native shared part of his training session with Glover Teixeira and Plínio Cruz on social media, showing that the atmosphere is more than pleasant during his training camp.
During training, Poatan is seen coordinating a boxing session between Glover and Plínio. Observing from a distance, the man from São Paulo gestured when one of his teammates was in a position to see him, giving tips on what to do next. In the end, laughter filled the room when Cruz realized that the advice wasn't just for him.

Alex Poatan in search of history at UFC Casa Branca.
With a career full of achievements, Alex Poatan is experiencing another significant moment in his journey. If he wins against Ciryl Gane , the Brazilian will add another Ultimate belt to his collection of titles.
If this is confirmed, Poatan, who has already been champion in the middleweight (up to 83,9 kg) and light heavyweight (up to 93 kg) divisions, will become the first athlete in the history of the sport to win belts in three different weight classes.
To try and achieve this feat, the Brazilian had to relinquish his light heavyweight title. The decision follows a policy adopted by the UFC in cases of division changes, which left the category's belt vacant.
Johnny Walker opens up about his heavyweight debut at UFC 332.
