Undefeated Josh Hokit confirmed his status as an MMA sensation by shining at UFC 327 and is now becoming Brazil's newest enemy. At the event held last Saturday (11), in Miami (USA), the bad boy starred in a war against Curtis Blaydes in the heavyweight division (up to 120,2 kg), winning by unanimous decision and taking home the bonuses. Following that, the American clashed with Paulo Borrachinha and now has his sights set on Alex Poatan.

All because, recently, 'Upfront MMA' released a video of the Brazilian lifting heavy weights and reported that he weighs 119,7 kg. It's worth noting that Poatan will make his heavyweight debut against Ciryl Gane at UFC Casa Branca , an event scheduled to take place on June 14th in Washington. Doubting the striker's physical progress, Hokit, through his official 'X' account, attacked him.

Known for his controversial behavior and trash talk, the loudmouth stated that he would defeat the UFC star quickly and brutally, with the clear intention of creating a rivalry to promote a possible confrontation. This wasn't the first time Hokit had provoked Poatan. In his victory speech, still in the octagon, the bad boy told the Brazilian to grab his testicles.

Hokit's Fighters in MMA

Josh Hokit , 28, is undefeated in MMA and is rapidly rising in the UFC heavyweight division. The American began his career in the sport in 2023, was discovered through the Contender Series program, debuted in the company in 2025, and has already reached fifth place in the division's rankings.

In this style of fighting, the bad boy competed in nine bouts and won them all, eight of them by stoppage (five by knockout and three by submission). His main victory was over Curtis Blaydes.
