It's time for SUPER FIGHTS predictions. On Saturday night (18), the Canada Life Centre hosts a series of fights to excite fans of one of the most traditional MMA nations. In the main event, Gilbert Durinho tries to recover from his terrible losing streak when he faces Mike Malott , the home fighter who is coming off three consecutive wins, in a duel valid for the welterweight division (up to 77,1 kg).

At 39 years old, Durinho hasn't known what it's like to win since dominating Jorge Masvidal in April 2023. Since then, he has suffered four consecutive defeats, including brutal knockouts against Jack Della Maddalena and Michael Morales . Looking more broadly, the Rio native has only two wins in his last seven fights, and therefore risks being fired if he suffers another loss.

Besides Durinho in the last fight of the night, the main card also features Karine Silva and Thiago Moisés . The lightweight (up to 70,3 kg) tries to return to the win column when he faces American Gauge Young . In a similar situation, Killer tries to recover from his defeat against Maycee Barber when he faces Jasmine Jasudavicius in a flyweight (up to 56,7 kg) bout. In the last preliminary fight, Marcio “Ticotô” Barbosa makes his organizational debut after a great victory in the Contender Series in August. He faces Dennis Buzukja in the featherweight division (up to 65,7 kg).

Palpites SUPER FIGHTS scoring system

Predictions will be made by the SUPER LUTAS team . At the end of the 2026 season, whoever obtains the most points will be the team's 'best bettor'. The scoring system will be simple. Whoever correctly predicts the winner gets one point. Whoever correctly predicts how the fight will end earns three points, and if the bettor accurately predicts the positive result (example: knockout in R1, submission in R3, decision by points), the bettor wins five points.
